CCCATripepi Smith & Associates has renewed its corporate support for the California Contract Cities Association (www.contractcities.org) for the 2013-2014 period.

California Contract Cities Association (CCCA) is a collection of member cities united for a common cause.  Born in 1958 as the direct result of the “Lakewood Plan”, CCCA grew from eight contracting or member cities to 70 member cities today with more than 7 million residents.  The general purpose of  CCCA is to advocate for cities contracting for municipal services so that member agencies and their residents receive the best service at the lowest cost. Tripepi Smith staff are regularly present at all CCCA meetings to stay in touch with trends and issues in local government on behalf of its clients.

“Contract Cities is a great organization with a long history of success that Tripepi Smith is proud to associate with and support,” said Ryder Todd Smith, president of Tripepi Smith. “CCCA members recognize that working with private sector contractors or other agencies to deliver services can sometimes be the most cost-effective choice for a city. Anything Tripepi Smith can to do help agencies be more efficient and achieve wins for their communities is something we stand behind.”

Tripepi Smith has a history of supporting local government organizations, including: the California City Management Foundation (www.cacitymanagers.org), Association of California Cities – Orange County (www.accoc.org), and the Municipal Management Association of Southern California (www.mmasc.org). This involvement helps Tripepi Smith stay closely abreast of trends and challenges affecting local government, as well as the key leaders who are creating the future of local government in California.
