Livermore Engages Tripepi Smith

The City of Livermore has engaged Tripepi Smith to provide communications assessment and support services for the City. Tripepi Smith was selected after an RFP was let by the City of Livermore over the summer. The goal of the engagement is to further enhance communications and citizen engagement. Tripepi Smith started the work in September.

“The City of Livermore council and staff values transparency and encourages communication between residents and the City,” stated Troy Brown, assistant city manager for the City of Livermore.
Throughout the assessment phase, Tripepi Smith has had an onsite representative working in cooperation with City staff to listen and learn about the organization and its communications process. The work has also entailed gathering feedback from outside entities on the perception of City communications and identifying key metrics that can help better analyze the success of communications efforts.
“Livermore is clearly a city that knows where it has been and where it is going. The staff has been enthusiastic about the process and has shown a commitment to wanting to innovate,” observed Ryder Todd Smith, president of Tripepi Smith. “The residents of Livermore have confidence in their city, and having worked inside the City for several weeks, I can confirm that confidence is well placed. The staff here is professional, focused on informing the public and seeking to improve the quality of life for residents.”
