Tripepi Facilitates CCMF’s First Webinar
Long-time Tripepi Smith client, the California City Management Foundation (CCMF), has an on-going mission to promote and encourage excellence in local government. At the July meeting of CCMF’s board, the question was raised how the organization might better utilize technology to fulfill their goals.
Enter Tripepi Smith. Our tam was excited to work with CCMF to plan and execute the non-profit’s very first, member-only webinar. Working with a task force within the organization, it was decided that the first presentation would be focused on career development. Tripepi Smith assisted in creating a promotional campaign, setting up the webinar platform, organizing speakers, hosting a practice session, and moderating the event.
The benefits of such a presentation are many. The cost of hosting a virtual event are considerably lower than organizing an a seminar in person and attendees were able to log on from the comfort of their own desk, making it highly accessible to members from all parts of California. What’s more, the presentation was easily recorded and stored on the members-only section of the website where it can be watched on demand.
Tripepi Smith is proud to have worked with CCMF on this new endeavor. Given the success of the event, the board has decided to discuss potential topics for future webinars at their January meeting.
