Big Independent Cities Excess Pool (BICEP) Launches New Website

BICEPTripepi Smith is excited to announce the launch of a new website for the Big Independent Cities Excess Pool (BICEP).

BICEP is a California joint powers authority established in 1988 as a way to “risk-share” insurance coverages by medium-to-large cities within the state of California. In order to better represent the work they do for their member cities, the board of directors decided it was time to build a website, and turned to Tripepi Smith for help.

The BICEP website was built from the ground up on the WordPress content management system. The goal was to create a clean, easy to navigate site that staff could easily update board meeting agendas and minutes, among other content.

“Ryder Smith and his team provided expert guidance throughout the development process,” said Greg Spiker of Ken Spiker And Associates, Inc. and BICEP’s General Manager. “I would recommend Tripepi Smith to anyone looking for a professional website consultant. They delivered what they promised in a timely and competitive manner.”

“BICEP is the second JPA website Tripepi Smith has delivered on in the last year. As a firm with deep experience in local government, we understand the goals and nuances of JPA’s better than most communications and website development firms,” said, Ryder Todd Smith, president of Tripepi Smith. “I appreciate Greg Spiker and the BICEP board entrusting us with the public face of their organization.”

Tripepi Smith completed a website remodel for the Independent Cities Finance Authority last year and has since expanded that work to include routine email communications, ongoing social media management and event planning and staffing. Tripepi Smith local government clients include: Independent Cities Finance Authority, City of Placentia, City of La Cañada Flintridge, and City of Cudahy.
